La Sella Golf receives the first Chinese players from Mission Hills

La Sella Golf was the first Spanish golf course in establishing a commercial relationship with the prestigious Mission Hills Golf Club in China, venue among others for the World Cup of Professionals 2011.
Last week La Sella received the first visitors from Mission Hills, the Chinese golfers Patrick and Chanila Heng, who stayed at the Dénia Marriott Hotel & Spa, and played the 27 holes of the course in Denia in two rounds, one together with the golf member Ann Edwards, who took on the role as ambassador during the game.
The agreement reached between both courses benefits its members which are allowed to play on the course of the other free of any charge.
It so happens that both, La Sella Golf as well as Mission Hills, have been designed by José María Olazábal, recently named as captain of the European team at the Ryder Cup 2012.
With it, La Sella Golf becomes a reference point for the growing Chinese tourism market, which over the last years has been increasing its visits to Spain.
