Moving celebration of the end of course and scholarship awards
On last Sunday the 27th, the 70 juniors attending La Sella Golf Academy of the La Sella Golf Resort in Denia, Costa Blanca accompanied by their parents were celebrating their end of course.
In a very moving ceremony after a superb dinner the teachers Dino Ferrer, José Manuel Carriles, Jason Seed and Borja were thanked for their excellent work.
The president of La Sella Golf, Mara Bañó explained that the Academy´s aim basically is to teach three things “the golf technique and its improvement and, even of more importantance, the etiquette, sportsmanship, fair play and the environmental awareness through respect for the space of the golf course and nature”.
During the course the juniors have achieved 8 victories in the 15 open tournaments celebrated in La Sella besides of having one of their disciples Carla Herrera on the third position in the national ranking and different victories in tournaments of the Valencian Federation.
A very moved Dino Ferrer, director of the Academy, handed over the scholarships and diplomas to each of the disciples and thanked the children and their parents for a year full of positive experiences either as teacher and personally.
