Discover the new 9 holes
Since the 1st of April, 2010 the new 9 holes of the La Sella Golf Resort in Denia, Costa Blanca are open for all players, also non-members of La Sella Golf which is the second 27 hole golf course at the Costa Blanca.
An interesting round designed by the professional golfer José Marïa Olazábal which offers some very particular views to the sea. The round is named after the local wind Mestral and it has the following characteristics:
Hole 1 - Difficult long par 3, playing uphill.
Hole 2 - Par 5 with sea views. Creek crossing on 2nd shot.
Hole 3 - Short par 4, difficult to enter green. Creek crossing on 1st shot.
Hole 4 - Par 4. The most beautiful hole of the new course with a protected water mill. Creek crossing before the green. Lake on the left side of tee box, back of the green and right side of the fairway.
Hole 5 - Par 5, going upward. Difficult to enter on the green but wide fairway.
Hole 6 - Short par 3. Elevated tee box.
Hole 7- Par 4 with sea views. Lake all around the green.
Hole 8 Panoramic par 5 with beautiful views from the Montgó to the Jesús Pobre mills.
Hole 9 - Short par 3 with a very, very tricky green.
