Award winner "Sports event of the year 2009"
The La Sella Golf Course is awarded by the Denia Townhall for the celebration of the European Ladies Cup
The most outstanding sportspersons of the season 2008-2009 and in general the whole sportsworld of the area´s capital have been awarded on last Friday on the occasion of the Annual Sports Gala of Denia.
Normally, those sports connected with the sea are used to get the prizes of this event as Denia is a town with a large history in sports as rowing and boat races, but this time golf became part of the history .
The town councillor for sports of theTownhall of Denia presented the sports director of La Sella, Bernardo Sanz with the prize which the whole team is very happy to share.
On last Monday this award was celebrated with the whole staff of the course in a more informal way. The direction of the La Sella expressed that they “are very pleased to have this opportunity to show what we are able to do” and “appreciates the effort and the excitement which we need specially in these times”.
