Promociones Denia the Spanish construction company and property developer in Denia on the Costa Blanca was established fourty years ago with the aim of providing high standards of construction and services to meet the needs of the discerning buyers seeking a new kind of Mediterranean lifestyle.
It all started when Promociones Denia set about the task building residential and tourist housing developments on front line and second line beach in the area of Denia situated in the northern part of Spain´s Costa Blanca. At the time the company gained an excellent reputation because of the innovatory design used and also because of the prime quality materials employed in construction, while at the same time showing a respect for the environment by stressing the importance of the creation of green areas together with the utilisation of autochthonous plants and trees.
Promociones Denia envisaged the creation of a luxury residential and tourist resort which would provide every comfort and facility for the visitor and which would be endowed with an excellent infrastructure. In the large terrain called La Sella – at that time a virgin landscape of more than 150 hectares – we set ourselves a new challenge, namely the creation of a unique luxury holiday and residential resort which would comprise several housing developments, luxurious villas, leisure centres and what was to become one of the first golf courses on the Costa Blanca.
The first nine holes of the golf course were inaugurated in 1990, extended to 18 holes in 1992 and in January 2010 the extension by new 9 holes was completed being La Sella Golf together with the golf club Escorpión in Bétera the only 27 hole golf courts in the Valencian Community.
The vision we had of a holiday and residential resort offering a wide range of top-quality services became a reality when in 2003 the international 5 star Denia Marriott & Spa hotel were inaugurated.
Today La Sella Golf Resort & Spa in Denia, Costa Blanca is a green oasis combining unrivalled tranquility and wellbeing and located in the heart of a nature reserve.
